
Nagaland government has called for a consultative meeting on the exercise for creation of the Register of Indigenous Inhabitant (RIIN) on July 17 at 2 p.m. at the State Banquet Hall.
In a communiqué, Home commissioner Abhijit Sinha informed that the chief minister and deputy chief minister will also be present at the meeting.
In this regard, the Home commissioner has invited all legislators and two representatives each along with presidents of– Angami Public Organisation, Ao Senden, Chakhesang Public Organisation, Sumi Hoho, Lotha Hoho, Konyak Union, Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation, Rengma Hoho, Yimchunger Tribal Council, Phom Peoples’ Council, Pochury Hoho, Chang Khulei Setsang, Khiamnuingan Tribal Council, United Sangtam Likhum Pumji, Zeliang Peoples’ Organisation, Nagaland Tribes Council, Central Nagaland Tribes Council, Naga Hoho, Naga Mothers’ Association, Eastern Nagaland Women Organisation, Naga Students’ Federation, Eastern Nagaland Students’ Federation, Nagaland GBs Federation, Naga Council Dimapur JCPI and Senior Citizens Association Nagaland.
