RCK extends help to GMS Pfutseromi

Rotary Club Kohima (RCK) along with the Government Primary School (GPS), Pfutseromi village, the adopted school of RCK, held an inauguration programme of toilets at GMS Pfutseromi village, sponsored by RCK in collaboration with R.C. Ghatkopar, Mumbai on October 14.  

A press release from GMS Pfutseromi head teacher, Kewekhro Mero stated that, prof. Rosemary Dzuvichu, charter president RCK & advisor NMA as guest speaker highlighted the activities taken up by the RCK in the past few years. She spoke on the club activities to provide social services to the society. 
She also spoke on women empowerment and the need to build up women welfare for a better society. She further challenged the students, youths and teachers to start writing stories and folklores associated with the culture and village. 
RCK officials were led by Dr. Neisatuo Mero, president, RCK along with Kevino Savino, secretary RCK, Amenla treasurer RCK, Pakinrichapbo, advocate, Human Right Law Network, Nagaland unit. 
The team on their maiden visit to the school donated reading materials for the school library. 
The programme was chaired by Dr. Neisatuo Mero, welcome address delivered by Menyilhi Mero, chairman, Village Council, Pfutseromi. A brief history of the school was highlighted by Kewekhro Mero, head teacher, GMS Pfutseromi and Vibi Mero, president, Pfutseromi Students’ Union tendered vote of thanks.
