Miss Phek District Beauty Pageant undertake cleanliness drive

 Contestants of Miss Phek District Beauty Pageant 2019 participated in the cleanliness drive at Pfutsero town on September 25 under the theme “Beauty for Cleanliness.” The drive was also joined by public of Pfutsero town to keep environment clean and tidy.

The grand finale of Miss Phek District Beauty Pageant 2019 under the theme “Rise Above Beauty” will take place on September 27 at 5 p.m. at Multi Purpose Indoor Stadium, Pfutsero.

Convener for Miss Phek District Beauty Pageant 2019, Dode Nakro kick started the cleanliness drive. Nakro emphasized the relevancy of the cleanliness drive with the theme “Rise above Beauty.” He said the ultimate desire of the team is an all encompassing beauty of an individual personality for one’s environment to become the ultimate agent of creating beautiful ambience in society.

Event manager Miss Phek District Beauty Pageant 2019, Zhozoto Nakro informed that another session for the contestants was held at Mini Tourist Lodge Pfutsero on the same day on the topic “Self Reliability” with Director Chakhesang Women Welfare Society, Vechulo-u Kanuo as resource speaker. Altogether, 11 contestants will vie for Miss Phek 2019 crown.
