PSC asks govt officials to be at posting place

A press release from PSC president A. Mane Phom and general secretary, A. Shunglam Phom stated that, the union in support to the notification issued by chief secretary of Nagaland has urged all the HoDs and staff under Longleng district to be present at their respective posting place. 

Phom Students’ Conference also asked all the schools under its jurisdiction to adhere strictly for the reopening as per the calendar served by directorate of School Education for the academic year. 

Phom Students’ Conference also found out that keeping proxy teacher in most of the government schools under its jurisdiction is tantamount to ill treatment for younger generation. 

In this regard, PSC appealed to the concern department to take up the matter into action and erase the practice of keeping proxy teacher. 

Union also pointed that many government schools were functioning without mathematics and science teacher, due to which the students were not getting quality education. 

Union therefore strongly appeals the department to take up the matter seriously on priority.
