Chatteswary Durgabari a socio religious organisation celebrated 121st birth anniversary of “Netaji Subash Chandra Bose” on January 23, at Dimapur. A procession programme was organized covering some part of Dimapur town, where people of all age including children took part. Meanwhile, the celebration was followed by a short programme which was held at Chatteswary Durgabari compound with Dimapur Bengali Samaj president K.K. Paul, as chief guest. Speaking as chief guest, K.K. Paul spoke about Netaji and his ideology. He asked every citizen to follow the ideology of Netaji. He also lauded the various humanitarian activities of Durgabari. Delivering introductory speech, convenor Biplab Paul, said it was that it was responsibility of every citizen to cooperate with one another, while advisor of Durgabari N Dutta, gave a brief note about ‘Netaji’. Resident of the colony Samir Purkayastha, and Lipon Saha, secretary (SYS) also spoke on the occasion. Later vote of thanks was delivered by Biplab Paul.
