RN Ravi to leave for Delhi today

As reported in this newspaper on August 8, Nagaland Governor, R.N. Ravi will be leaving for Delhi on August 10. 

Ravi, who is also the Interlocutor for Naga peace talks, is likely to hold a meeting with the NSCN (I-M) leaders headed by general secretary and chief negotiator Th. Muivah, who is  in Delhi.

As reported, Ravi and NSCN (I-M) leadership are likely to hold a formal meeting during the third week of August in Delhi, after August 15 (Independence Day celebration). 

Earlier, the formal meeting between R.N. Ravi and NSCN (I-M) leaders, which was scheduled to be held in July 17, was postponed due to health issues Th. Muivah. 

Later, on July 20, Muivah flew to Delhi by a chartered flight for treatment, accompanied by his wife and others. 

A 5-member NSCN (I-M) delegation left for Delhi via Guwahati on August 7 and another 9-member delegation of senior NSCN leaders left for Delhi on August 8 from Dimapur by a chartered flight.
