State’s COVID-19 tally crosses 11k

Nagaland on Thursday recorded 69 COVID-19 positive cases—27 in Kohima, 17 Dimapur, 14 in Mon, eight in Tuensang and three in Peren, taking the tally to 11060 cases. According to state health department’s daily bulletin,  131 COVID-19 positive patients have recovered—83 in Dimapur, 18 in Kohima,  14 in Tuensang, 13 in Mon and three in Phek. Out of the total 11060 COVID-19 positive cases, 9488 have recovered and currently there are 1400 active cases.

India’s virus tally reaches 92.66 lakh
PTI adds: India’s COVID-19 caseload increased to 92.66 lakh with 44,489 new infections being reported in a day, while the recoveries surged to 86.79 lakh, the Union health ministry said on Thursday.
