Diphupar sub-centre extended for COVID vax

Following the request by village level vigilance & Monitoring cell COVID-19, Diphupar Village Council (DVC), the chief medical officer Dimapur, Dr. Mereninla after consultation with the higher authority opened an extension of the sub-centre at the Diphupar Village council hall where vaccination for beneficiaries above 45 years of age started on April 30 with a six-member vaccination team.

According to DIPR report, during a brief programme, CMO Dimapur urged the people of Diphupar to get inoculated and not to believe in rumours, adding that there were no adverse effects so. 
She called upon the citizens to continue following all COVID-19 appropriate behaviour as the second Covid wave was affected the country including Nagaland.
Dr. Mereninla further asked the village council to monitor all returnees coming inside the village and also highlighted about the latest SOP where all returnees are compelled to produce negative RT-PCR report. She lauded the village council for always being supportive and for taking the initiative for vaccination program this time too.
Short speech was also delivered by medical officer Chümoukedima, Dr. Narola while pastor Tangkhul Baptist Church Diphupar, Rev. Candid Satro invoked God’s blessings. 
Co-convener VLV & MC, Zuchumo Mozhui chaired the program while Hed GB Diphupar Village, Kekhwetshu Khutsoh proposed the vote of thanks.
