NNC/FGN Ao region has informed all concerned that the supervisor of the region was the “designated authority” authorised by ‘Brig. (Retd)’ S. Singnya, Kedahge to seek financial assistance in the Ao region.
In a press release, NNC/FGN Ao region supervisor Daniel Jamir informed that no other officer (civil/army) has been authorised to “collect tax on behalf of the Government under Ao region.”
The region has asked all concerned to report “demand(s)” made in the name of NNC/FGN by contacting the supervisor at 9402032193.
Further, the region has warned that NNC/FGN would not be held responsible if “tax” was paid without the knowledge of the supervisor.
