Nagaland governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, chief minister Neiphiu Rio and deputy CM Y. Patton have extended Thuni festival greetings to the Chakhesang community.
Prof. Mukhi said Thuni, a thanksgiving festival for a bountiful harvest and good health, promote significant virtues such as equity, friendship, peace, purity and originality. Mukhi prayed that Almighty God bless the people of Nagaland with a bountiful harvest, good health, peace and prosperity.

Dy. CM: On behalf of the state BJP legislators, Patton conveyed heartiest Thuni greetings and hoped that the celebrations bring blessings in abundance. He called upon all to give thanks to the Almighty and pray for a prosperous year.
