Azikeh marketing building inaugurated in Dimapur

Moatoshi Longkumer, MLA inaugurated the Azikeh marketing building here, Saturday, at Sangtamtila village.
Speaking at the programme as chief guest, Moatoshi Longkumer said that Nagaland was one of the poorest states in India because there was no factory, companies and resources.
He pointed out that the agricultural produce was also reduce drastically.
Moatoshi said the reason behind being the poorest state was that Nagas were lazy and looked for easy money.
Stating that the people would be doomed if they went forward with that mentality, he encouraged all to change their mindsets and start working hard to improve their economy.
It may be mentioned that the two-storey marketing building comprises of revenue generating shop at the top floor while the ground floor would cater to the vegetable vendors.
The revenue generated from the building would be used for waste management of the village. The village also plans to impose fine against defaulters littering the village.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by council secretary Yolise, invocation was said by Sangtam Baptist Church, pastor, C Toshimeren while welcome speech was delivered by village council chairman Asemba Mongzar.
Later, benediction was said by Sangtamtilla Ao Baptist church, pastor Nungshimeren.
