Medziphema Town Youth Organization (MTYO) conducted its first “youth parliament 2017” sponsored by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Dimapur at town hall, Medziphema on November 18.
A press release by MTYO stated that while resource persons were Nagaland State Co-operative Bank, NSCB (Ltd) Medziphema, manager, Vihoshe Pucho and Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC) Medziphema, Sentilong Ozukum.
Speaking on “entrepreneurial opportunities from schemes through banks”, Vihoshe shared on the numerous schemes available for the people through banks, provided they were sincere and dedicated. He urged the delegates to come forward and take up the challenge to be financially independent with support from banks.
Sentilong who spoke on “careers and prospects for future”, urged the student community to give their very best in studies. He however added that one must acquire other skills, trainings, in order to compete in today’s world.
Sentilong also stressed on the need to venture into independent and sustainable areas for financial stability and added that utmost commitment towards one’s goal was the first step to be successful in life.
