India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rainfall activity to continue over Northeast India during next five days.
In its bulletin, IMD stated that fairly widespread to widespread light/moderate rainfall with thunderstorm/lightning/gusty winds (40-50 kmph) was very likely over the NE region during March 31-April 2.
It also predicted isolated heavy rainfall over Assam-Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh likely on March 31 and April 1, 2022.
Meanwhile, IMD has predicted that heat wave spell over Northwest, Central and West India was likely to continue during next four-five days.
