Chiechama Village Council (CVC) and its constituent unit GBs, CVY&S, CWS and CSU in an emergency meeting on September 8 at the council hall have adopted three-point resolution in connection to the murder of late Swuduve Nakro on September 2.
A press note by general secretary Chiechama Village Council Ruokuozolie Rüpreo and chairman Chiechama Village Council Neitso Sogotsu stated that the meeting has resolved that since three miscreants have defamed the peaceful and good image of the village the meeting declared that there was no room for forgiveness.
It also resolved to appeal the judiciary to give severe punishment to the three murderers according to the law and also resolved that the punishment of all murderers should be the same and that they should not be granted bail under any circumstances.
The meeting also resolved that the village would take any action against those three murderers even if are granted bail and was found roaming in the village’s jurisdiction.
