Angami Youth Organization on Sunday visited the road block due to landslide at Viswema village and appreciated the enormous effort given by the villagers and the neighbouring villages.
It said the effort of villagers guiding and helping the travellers across the border near the landslide area was noted with high regard by the travellers themselves. AYO hoped that the effort of various agencies will produce desirable results for public welfare and convenience.
AYO has also thanked SDO Jakhama, the police and SAYO, Viswema village and their youth, neighbouring villages of Viswema for sharing responsibility in helping travellers in the tune of thousands of people every day.
The organisation said it understand the “dynamics” of Viswema landslide as slightly different from that of Kiruphema which is under the four lane project.
In this regard, AYO said it shall henceforth bring out certain appeal and even demands to both the concerned department, the government and the company undertaking the four lane highway.
