MTDU not to ply Mkg to Mariani, Amguri roads

Mokokchung Truck Driver Union (MTDU) has informed that drivers have decided not to ply along Mokokchung-Mariani road and Mokokchung-Amguri road from July 24, 2017 till proper improvement in the conditions of the roads were made. In a press release, MTDU president, Ayutemjen, and general secretary, Temjensoba, informed that the roads have reached a stage where it was dangerous for trucks to ply. In this regard, MTDU said it cannot risks the lives of its members (drivers). MTDU has sought cooperation from all sections of the society.
