Information sought on lost boy

District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) Wokha has circulated details of Amal, a six year old boy admitted in Gov. Children’s Home Muttikulanagara, Palakkad district, Kerala to trace out the parents.
A press note from DCPU Wokha, protection officer (NIC) Mary Swuro stated that the child is deaf and dumb, whereby it was not possible to find out the parents of the child and his native place. At present the child is under treatment and has improved and also going to school. The Palakkad Child Welfare Committee has requested publication of the available details of the child to different authorities to trace out the parent and whereabouts of the child. District Child Protection Officer, Pallakkad, Kerala has described, “the child named Amal (name given by the Govt. Children’s home, Palakkad) was rescued by Olavakkode Railway Protection Force on September 4, 2016 and has been admitted in Govt. Children’s Home, Muttikulanagara, Palakkad District, Kerala”.
