
Nise Meruno and Alobo Naga while performing at de Oriental Grand, Kohima on Sunday night, dedicated their show to fathers as it coincided with Fathers’ Day celebrated worldwide.
They dedicated some of their touching songs to dads and also especially to all those who had no father to celebrate the day.
Music lovers who witnessed the show said it was “enthralling and special” as they interpreted songs of different genres into very personal and entertaining ones through their vocals and piano accompaniment.
Their renditions were “awesome” and we really had a good time, we want to attend more of such shows, one attendee said.
Another audience by the name Puloto said, “It was a classy concert and more than we could wish for, to see two legends sharing a stage and the best part of it was seeing the other side of them.”Post the show, Alobo in a word described the show as “perfect”. He added that he felt good to have been able to perform Beyonce’s ‘Listen’, which he said was one of the toughest songs for him to rendition.
The show was attended by a couple of hundreds from in and around Kohima.
