ENDBU seminar held in Kiphire

The Eastern Nagaland DB’s Union (ENDBU) held one day tour- cum-seminar at DC’s conference hall Kiphire with Additional Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang as resource person on the theme “identity, order and progress.”
Dr. Tinojungshi Chang in his speech said that culture was the identity of the people and thus should preserve it collectively. He said that Nagaland has been granted special preference to have Dobashis which showed that Nagas had a unique identity in the world.
While lauding the handworks of Dobashis in Eastern Nagaland, the ADC said that DBs should know their profession and full heartedly perform accordingly so as to deliver justice in their work.
Dr.Chang said that in order to become professional in their job, attitude, motivation and building social responsibility should be maintained by self.
He said that DBs institution in Nagaland was the oldest institution and therefore should try not to lose the value of DBs. He further said that every suggestion given by people for the betterment should be respected.
Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, Sedevikho Khro in his exhortation referred DBs as the torch bearers of the Eastern Nagas. 
He said that Eastern Nagas have many good leadership but we needed to bring change in many aspect. Deputy Commissioner asked the DBs to deliver justice in their judgment without fear.
Others who spoke at the programme were president of ENDBU, R. Mutsothang Sangtam, president of GBs Association Kiphire district.
Welcome address was delivered by district head DB Kiphire, Lirimong Sangtam.
Special number was presented by Lilongla and Friends.
