CECS conducts capacity building training

One-day capacity building training was conducted for Educational Volunteers of Informal Education for Marginalized Children(IEMC) Centres, a project supported by Wipro Cares at Community Education Centre School Dimapur on May 5 with W. Bendang, CABA as the resource person. 

The training on “Teaching Methods on Child Psychology” was based on the various methods namely Kumon Method, Montessori Method, Chunking Method and Graded Method. 

In the training, Bendang stressed on the general understanding of a child’s psychology under various age categories and the use of innovative and holistic approach to foster progressive learning and all-round development of a child. 

The participants were also trained on certain vocational skills using the art of paper to enhance their classroom teaching performance.  A total of 30 educational volunteers from 15 IEMC Centres along with project staff and interns from NEISSR attended the capacity building training.
