Nagaland governor P.B. Acharya on Friday praised the hard work and sincerity of the members of Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland (IRCSN) and their service rendered to the needy people of the state, on the occasion of World Red Cross Day, which falls on May 8.
Acharya said, since its inception, IRCSN has been rendering humanitarian network in the State by providing humanitarian values, disaster response and health care in the community. On the occasion, he urged all the citizens to contribute with a “generous heart, kind speech, and a life and compassion which are essential for nurturing humanity”.
Acharya who is also the chairman of IRCSN wished the members a success in their future endeavours.
