MDGBA flays murder of student leader

Mon District GB’s Association (MDGBA) has termed the killing of Tizit Area Student’s Union Action committee chairman, Ahoa Konyak by alleged drug peddler as “unhuman” and “barbaric”.
MDGBA president, GB C. Ngamching in a press release informed that the association on May 27 visited the family members and relatives of late Ahoa Konyak and conveyed condolences and prayed for comfort and courage at the time of grief. The association expressed the hope that the sacrifice of late Ahoa will “washed away” the menace of illegal drugs and addiction in the society. The association further appealed to all the citizens and concerned administration to implement strict rules to control such situation in the future.
