Department of School Education (DoSE), which is collecting data on students who are residents/inhabitants of Nagaland and returned from Manipur, has directed heads of all schools (govt/private/NBSE/CBSE/ICSE) within Nagaland to submit number of such students admitted in their schools since May 2023 at the Activities Tab provided at Online School Monitoring Portal https://school.dosenl.in on or before June 12.
The department also directed the schools following state’s curriculum to grant provisional admission to students belonging to the above category up to Class 7 without production of educational documents from the school previously studied.
However, the department said that parents of such students would have to submit an undertaking that they would submit all required documents before the commencement of the third term exam 2023, failing which provisional admission granted would be cancelled.
It informed that admissions to Classes 8 and above would be done with prior approval of NBSE.
