Music has the power to heal: CL John

The School of Music Dimapur held its 17th Foundation today at the school campus with Minister for RD & REPA, Government of Nagaland, C.L. John as the chief guest.

In his speech, the minister stressed on the importance of music in our everyday life, that it has the power to even heal sickness and uplift our spirits at the darkest times. He also encouraged musicians to put God first and to spread positive message through their gifts, as a responsible contributors to the society.

The event was attended by the Minister and his entourage, Zaveyi Nyekha (Rtd Principal Director, SE), parents, well wishers and other dignitiaries.

Various special number was presented by the students and staffs of SoM, including a solo by the well known musician and a staff of SoM, Jano Nyekha.
