State Bank of India (SBI) Kiphire branch organized “customer relation programme” on Wednesday at Hopongkyu Memorial Hall Kiphire to create awareness on the value added banking products.
Speaking in the programme, former executive chairman of United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) T. Kirithong Sangtam appreciated SBI Kiphire staff for “shouldering the burden of the public”. He however said that the staff should be more familiar with the customers as many of the customers were ignorant. Sangtam also highlighted some of the grievances faced by the public and appealed for more staff at SBI Kiphire. Dr. Tinojungshi Chang, ADC Kiphire, SP Kiphire, Ben Longkumer also spoke at the programme while welcome speech was delivered by Branch manager SBI Kiphire. GBs, DBs and public leaders from Kiphire district attended at the programme.
