Five-day training on diabetes was organises by Longjaknep Women Welfare Society (LWWS) for doctors, nurses and paramedical staff from March 3 at Hotel Metsuben, Mokokchung.
The programme was led by Longjaknep Women Welfare Society chairman Amenla and society members along with assistant professor Pharmacology, Jorhat Medical College and Hospital, Dr. Hiteshwar Saikia, CMCH demonstrator at institute of pharmacy, Prasenjit Singh and lab technician, Jorhat Medical College Bhati Pegu.
In the programme topics on how to deal with diabetic patients and problems that doctors in Nagaland face regarding the patient’s ignorance of the causes of diabetes were discussed.
