Based on specific input, troops of 32 Assam Rifles along with police representatives launched a search operation in Clock Tower area, Dimapur on March 3.
According to PRO IGAR (N) during the operation, an individual identified as N. Mar Longkumer (43) kilonser, NNC son of P Nungden, resident of Burma Camp, Dimapur who was collecting tax from shopkeepers along with incriminating documents was apprehended.
The individual along with the recovered items were handed over to West Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation, PRO added.
