Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union Bengaluru (ENSUB) organized its 19th Freshers’ meet on September 30 at India Campus Crusade for Christ with the theme, “Beauty of our Roots: Re-imagining Traditions”.
In a press release, ENSUB vice president, Nyeiwang Phom informed that the event began with an invocation by pastor Phumjei followed by welcome address by ENSUB president, David Chang. A special prayer for the freshers was offered by pastor, Eastern Nagaland Fellowship Bengaluru, Bechung Konyak. The occasion was graced by special guest, group Chief Operating Officer, Sakra World Hospital, Bengaluru, Lovekesh Phasu.
Samson from Khiamniungan tribe and Lily from Konyak tribe were crowned Mr. & Miss freshers respectively.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by ENSUB vice president, Nyeiwang Phom and concluded with a closing prayer by pastor Naga Christian Fellowship Bengaluru, Nikato.
