To strengthen and disseminate the latest technological advancements and techniques in agri and allied sectors at the district level, ATMA Dimapur organized an exhibition on January 26 at DDSC stadium.
The exhibition saw participation from departments of agriculture, horticulture, sericulture, soil & water conservation, land resources, co-operative, KVK Jharnapani and veterinary & animal husbandry.
The exhibition also emphasized on the use of modern machineries for improvement in agriculture production and also by use of scientific method of cultivation. To create awareness to the farmers and also to the general public modern agricultural machineries, tools and implements were on display. Other items on display were different fruits and vegetables, flowers, silk clothing, kroiler birds and piglets which were sold at subsidized rate.
Advisor Urban Development, S.I Jamir as chief guest inaugurated ATMA exhibition stall. He visited the stalls set up by the department of agri-allied and SHGs under ATMA. On the occasion ATMA leaflets and folders on different local dialoque was released by the chief guest.
