Unidentified miscreants planted a gas cylinder and blasted it at the under-construction building of home minister Y. Patton private residence under Meriema village jurisdiction on February 9 at around 11:30pm.
According to superintendent of police Kohima Joseph Hesso who investigated the building this morning reported that the unidentified miscreants came along in two light motor vehicles and gave two warning shots and shouted no one to intercept the situation and later burned some tyres and exploded the gas cylinder inside the building and later fled from the scene.
SP reported that a case was registered and investigation was on and added that it would be premature to comment about the suspects.
