Innovation Incubation Space inaugurated in Kohima

Innovation Incubation Space, a central meeting point for both investors and startups, facilitating in-person and virtual interactions with mentors, under Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), as investment facilitator, was inaugurated in Kohima on Monday.

Delivering key note address at the inaugural programme, advisor of Industries and Commerce, Hekani Jakhalu emphasized the pivotal role of startups in shaping the economic landscape of the state.


Mission Director of AIM (NITI Aayog), Dr.Chintan Vaishnav, provided a special address, offering a national perspective on innovation and the crucial support startups require to thrive.


Commissioner and secretary Nagaland, Industries & Commerce., and Nodal Officer for Startup India Kekhrievor Kevichusa, provided a comprehensive overview of the current state and future prospects of the Startup Ecosystem in Nagaland, enlightening attendees on the region’s potential for growth and development.

The concluding remarks was delivered by dy director Dept. of Industries & Commerce & Team Leader Startup Nagaland, Keneirienuo K Theunuo, while welcome note was earlier delivered by joint secretary IDAN & finance department, Reny Wilfred.
