Nagaland: Day 2 of 2nd NECDC Senior Men’s Interstate Friendship tournament

The second day of the 2nd NECDC Senior Men’s Interstate Friendship Tournament 2024 saw two thrilling matches, with outstanding performances and decisive victories.

Meghalaya secured a dominant win over Arunachal Pradesh by 111 runs, thanks to a brilliant century from Wallambok Nongkhlaw who scored 105 off 110 balls, earning him the Player of the Match title at Nagaland Cricket Stadium.

In another match at Sovima Cricket Ground, Sikkim claimed a commanding victory over Mizoram, winning by 158 runs. Ankur Malik stole the spotlight with a stunning 6-wicket haul for just 18 runs, earning him the Player of the Match award. Sikkim’s dominant win and Ankur Malik’s spectacular bowling performance have put them in a strong position in the tournament.
