Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Wokha, observed advent Christmas on December 5 at the residence of District Public Relations Officer (DPRO) Lolano Patton.
The celebration was attended by the DIPR staff and chaired by Information Assistant Phyochamo Ngullie.
Extending greetings, DPRO Lolano Patton, emphasized the department’s significant role in the district, and encouraged staff to remain dedicated to their responsibilities, work with motivation by setting an example for other departments and work toward the betterment of the district. She wished the people of the district a good health and a prosperous New Year 2025.
A short speech was delivered by (UDA) Mesano, while the program included presented a special number by ACO Avungo and scripture was read by operator Rupen.
Adding to the festive cheer, a lucky draw was held, with Operator Sendenmo emerging as the winner. The event commenced with an invocation by Storekeeper Zanthunglo, followed by a vote of thanks delivered by Lower Division Assistant (LDA) Fanny, and concluded with a benediction by Chowkidar Npilo.
