Condolences for late Setricho Sangtam

KDSSU: Kiphire District Sumi Students’ Union (KDSSU) has mourned the demise of Sethricho Sangtam, ex minister who was also Congress candidate of 59 A/C Seyochung Sitimi of Kiphire district. The union in a condolence note issued by its general secretary, Z. Simon Aomi also stated that the deceased was a good principal political leader from the district and that his death was a great loss for the district and the general society of Nagas. Further has conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
ASLT: The Akheda Sangtam Larü Thsingmüjang has mourned the demise of former minister, S. Sethrichi Sangtam, on May 7. The organization in a release said late Sangtam was a dedicated leader who stood for truth and peace, and that it would cherish his contributions to the community.
Kiheto Aye: Ex candidate, 59 A/C, Kiheto Aye, has condoled the demise of S. Sethrichi Sangtam, former minister. Ayee stated that the contributions of Lt. Sangtam were valuable to the Nagas and that his deeds would be remembered by the Nagas.
Chingwang Konyak: Leader of opposition, Chingwang Konyak has mourned the demise of former minister, Sethricho Sangtam who passed away on Thursday. In a condolence message, Chingwang termed the departed soul as a dedicated leader who had always worked for the betterment of the people of Kiphire district and the people of Nagaland in general. Conveying his heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family members the opposition leader said that demise of Sethricho was not only a great lost to the family but to the people of the state.
NPMC: Nagaland Pradesh Mahila Congress (NPMC) has mourned over the demise of former minister, Serthricho Sangtam who passed away Thursday at Zion Hospital after a prolonged illness. NPMC general secretary, N. Lucy in a press statement conveying heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family members has termed the passing away of a loyal leader like Sethricho, was a great loss and stated that the NPMC would always remembered him as a loyal and dedicated Congressman.
NPYC: Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress (NPYC) has expressed shock over the demise of S. Setricho a senior Congress leader and former minister on May 7 at Zion Hospital, Dimapur. A press release issued by NPYC President Kuputo Shohe stated that late Setricho was an ardent public servant who hailed from Seyochung village. Expressing condolence to the bereaved family members, NPYC prayed that departed soul rest in peace.
C. KIPILI SANGTAM: MLA and chairman NSMDC C. Kipili Sangtam has condoled the demise of ex-minister Sethricho Sangtam who expired on May 7. In a condolence note, the MLA said during his lifetime, Sethricho Sangtam was a noble and pious leader, hard working who always contributed for the good work of the Nagas, and that his death was a big loss for the Nagas and also for the Sangtam community.
USLB: United Sangtam Likhum Bumji (USLB) expressed condolence to family of Lt. Sethricho Sangtam, former minister who died on May 7. The President, USLB, R. Tsapikiu and General Secretary C. Sashi Naga stated the vacuum created by his death would be felt for a long time.
ESH: Eastern Sumi Hoho has mourned the demise of Sethricho Sangtam ex minister of 59 A/C Seyochung-Sitimi. The ESH chairman Zhetovi Yeptho while condoling his death said Sethricho Sangtam was a leader of good moral and that with his death, Nagas had lost a good leader.
SUK: Sangtam Union Kohima expressed shock at the untimely demise of Sethricho Sangtam ex-minister of Seyochung village under Kiphire district May 7 at Dimapur. According to its general secretary Litsacho Sangtam, late Sethricho Sangtam was one of the most dynamic and veteran leaders among the Sangtams, and stated that in his death, it was not only a loss for his family but the Naga society as well.
ENSF: Eastern Naga students’ Federation had expressed sorrow at the demise of former minister Sethricho Sangtamwho passed away on May 7. According to its general secretary, P. Methna Konyak, late Sethricho Sangtam was a man of principle and integrity, who had done many good work for the upliftment of the students’ community. It further said late Sethricho Sangtam was always vocal while he was a minister for the upliftment of the students’ community, and that in his death, the ENSF said it had lost a great leader, not only for them but also for the Nagas in general.
GPRN/NSCN: GPRN/NSCN has mourned the demise of Sethricho a “respected Naga leader” whose death was a great loss to not only Sangtam people but Nagas as a whole. Expressing condolence, the GPRN/NSCN stated late Sethricho to be a man with broad vision for the Nagas who worked tirelessly for the uplifment of Naga society and his politics were based on oneness of Nagas irrespective of artificial boundaries. The condolence message stated that late Sethricho was a man who understood the concept of unity and reconciliation of the Nagas. GPRN/NSCN acknowledged his honest understanding of the political and social ailments plaguing the Nagas and stated his humane approach towards finding a solution to “Indo-Naga” political issue reflected the personality of a capable leader.
