Various schools and organization held felicitation and thanksgiving programme for the toppers in the recently declared HSLC and HSSLC examination result.
ANPSA: All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA), Dimapur Unit, organized the HSLC and HSSLC felicitation programme 2025 at Christian Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, celebrating the academic achievements of toppers from the NBSE board examinations for Classes 10 and 12.
The event brought together students, teachers, and school leaders, with Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Thejaselhou Yhome, attending as the chief guest. In his address, Yhome encouraged students to be self-driven, uphold personal integrity, and view success beyond academics—embracing character, identity, and values.
He emphasized the importance of family, cultural roots, and Christian principles such as humility, discipline, and service, urging students to seek mentorship and remain connected to their families as they progress in life.
Central president of ANPSA, Nini Sekhose, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. The felicitation program recognized a total of 65 students from the HSSLC (Arts, Science, and Commerce) and HSLC merit lists, alongside 40 teachers whose guidance helped students achieve state-level subject topper positions.
The ceremony also featured musical performances by students from Holy Cross and Little Star Higher Secondary Schools, adding a celebratory touch to the event. Rank-holding students took the stage to share their experiences and words of encouragement.
The program reflected ANPSA’s commitment to academic excellence while fostering values of leadership and mentorship within the student community.
CHSS: Christian Higher Secondary School (CHSS) Dimapur felicitated the top achievers of the NBSE HSLC and HSSLC 2025 examinations at a special ceremony held at Covenant Hall, CHSS on May 5, 2025.
The event was graced by SMB chairman Toshi Sangtam and attended by the distinguished toppers, accompanied by their proud parents, as well as the present Class 10 and 12 students.
The honored students included: HSLC toppers: Watitula Imchen (5th Rank), Mechali Longkumer (8th Rank), Piyush Gupta (8th Rank), Tsungrochung Walling (12th Rank), Rudradeep Bhattacharjee (16th Rank), Sahil Hussain (18th Rank)
• HSSLC toppers: Benri Odyuo (5th Rank, Arts), Sneha Saha (9th Rank, Commerce), Monowara Begum (10th Rank, Commerce), Rosalyn Kikon (Subject Topper, ITeS – 99%)
The program was chaired by Renbeni Kikon, a teacher at the institution, while vice principal Patricia Zhimomi presented a highlights report on the results. Principal S. Moatemsu Walling delivered the felicitation speech, commending the toppers for their hard work and determination.
Coraggio School Kohima: Coraggio School Kohima observed its annual thanksgiving day on May 2, 2025, with tributes and honors for top HSLC 2024 students.
Administrator Kekhriengunuo Khamo, in her welcome address, expressed gratitude for God’s grace and credited the school’s success to divine guidance.
She highlighted the institution’s 100% pass rate over the past decade, commending the dedication of teachers and unwavering parental support.
Speaking on behalf of the chief patron, chairman Dr. Hovithal Sothu encouraged students to remain humble and consistent, reminding them that HSLC marks were just the beginning. He applauded the sacrifices of teachers and parents and urged students to express appreciation for their support.
Award winners included Nokkai Delimth (Top 10), who received the Vilelie Khamo Award with a Rs. 2 lakh cash prize, and Theja Thapo (Top 17), who was awarded Rs.1 lakh. Mercy Leno, securing 100 marks in FIT, received Rs.5,000 for her outstanding performance. Tolika K Ayemi (Class 10) and Sentitoba Jamir (Class 9) earned Lechale Khamo Awards, granting them full scholarships for their academic excellence.
Teachers Chanele Apon (FIT) and Asieno Sekhose (English) were honored with Achiever’s Awards, along with all educators of A1-scoring students. The event was attended by chief patron Vilelie Khamo, the Board of Directors, outgoing students, parents, teachers, and current Class 10 students. A message of encouragement was shared, inspiring juniors to strive for excellence and emulate their seniors’ achievements.
