CYODD: Chakhesang Youth Organization Dimapur District (CYODD) has felicitated the newly elected members of Dimapur Naga Students Union (DNSU) under the president ship of Medovoyi Medeo. The organization also lauded outgoing president Solomon L Awomi and his colleague for their efforts made during their tenure. Meanwhile, the organization has also congratulated all students for successfully passing out their BA, B.sc and B.com under Nagaland University.
CSUD: Chakhesang Students’ Union Dimapur (CSUD) felicitated the new team of DNCU headed by president, Medovoi Medeo. CSUD general secretary, Vekhoto Khamo felicitating the new team has expressed confidence that under the new president Naga society especially students’ community in Dimapur would reach to a new height.
TBSU: Tamlu Buhu Students’ Union (TBSU) congratulated all successful candidates in the HSLC, HSSLC, JEE & Degree examination. The union also particularly felicitated Jacob H Mukho, C Manpa and Phongngai Aily for getting selected to undergo studies for MBBS and Electricla Engineering course respectively. YSU Yemishe Students’ Union (YSU) felicitated GB & vice president NPF Nagaland Huskha Yepthomi for receiving the Man of the Year Award (2009) from American Biographical Institute on March 12, 2009 for his outstanding contribution to the country. The union appreciated him for bringing laurels to Naga Community and Sumi community in particular and also wished him success in his future endeavors.Meanwhile the union also congratulated all the successful candidates of BA, B Sc & B Com in the degree exams under Nagaland University and also wished them success in the future.
DWVSU: Dimapur Wokha Village Students’ Union (DWVSU) has felicitated Lichumo T Murry on his selection in the JEE to undergo MBBS studies. The union also wished him all the very best in the future.
TVSU: Tamlu Village Students’ Union (TVSU) has congratulated all successful candidates of JEE 2009 conducted by Higher and Technical Education. The union in a congratulatory note issued jointly by its vice-president and general secretary, especially congratulated M. Jacob H. Phom (MBBS), C. Manba (MBBS) and Phongngai Phom (Electrical Engineer) and further wished them success in their future endeavours.
KLH: Kohima Lotha Hoho (KLH) has felicitated all successful JEE candidates for undergoing MBBS/Engineering and other allied degree courses for the session 2009-10. The KLH in a press release issued by its general secretary, E.M Lotha, has also congratulated Dr. Y.Y Kikon on him being conferred Ph.D in Horticulture and also to Er. L. Chenithung Kikon, son of Lithungbemo Kikon, retired Language Officer, Education Department, Kohima, on him being selected to the post of Engineer through All India Engineering Service, which was conducted by UPSC.
DKSU: Dimapur Kyong Students’ Union (DKSU) has felicitated Mhachio Odyuo and Jenithung Jami for being appointed as general secretary and secretary debating and symposium respectively of Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) and also for bringing fame and glory to Kyong community. In an appreciation note issued by M. Robin Jungio, general secretary DKSU has urged them to work hard and to fulfill the purpose and duties of students’ leaders and further wished them success in their future endeavors.
NPF Zbto: NPF Zunheboto Division unit and all members of the party division has felicitated Huska Yepthomi, vice president, NOF, for receiving ‘Man of the Year 2009’ award representing India for excellence in the field of socio economic and political emergence in the state by the American Biographical Institute of USA. The party division stated that the award was conferred to him due to his dedication and selfless services rendered. The division also said that it would look forward to the cooperation and guidance of Huska Yepthomi. Further, the Concern Citizen Forum, Zunheboto, has lauded Huska Yepthomi for bringing laurels to the community by receiving the ‘Man of the Year’ prepresenting India from the Amarican Biographical Institute, USA. The forum stated through a release that Huska is a prominent member of the forum and was earlier conferred ‘Man of the Year 2006’ by the forum. It extended its wishes to him for a bright future.
TSU: Tsungiki Students Union congratulated Er. Jenithung Kikon for clearing the Indian Engineering Service(IES) their by bringing laurels to the village. In a release the TSU President L. Zachamo Ovung said the Er. Jenithung Kikon s/o S. Lithungbemo Kikon, retired language officer was presently serving the state government as SDO(Housing) after having cleared last year’s NPSC exams. Therefore the president said Mr. Jenithung Kikon’s achievement was a double blessing for his family and the village. Further while wishing him an eventful life ahead, the president urged his village students to emulate his exemplary success to do well in life.
OCSU: Changsu Student’s Union executive members have congratulated all successful candidate especially to its bonafide members in the B.A/B.Com/B.S.C examination 2008-09 Further the Union also laud to the successful candidate for bringing a good name and fame to the Union as well as to the citizen. Union wished them many more successful in their future Endeavour.
MSU: Mekokla Students Union has congratulated all candidates who have excelled in HSLC / HSSLC / degree course examination 2009. The MSU informed every successful candidate to submit a Xerox copy of their mark sheet to any of the executives (s) latest by September 10, as it will be needed during the union felicitation prorgamme.
CSU: Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) has felicitated all candidates who have successfully passed the recent JEE exam conducted by NBSE. The Union in a release issued by General Secretary Esther Rhakho has lauded them for bringing laurel to community in general and the student community in particular. The union also urged them to continue their work with sincerity and dedication to achieve higher goals. The union further encouraged the unsuccessful candidates not to loose heart but urged them to take it as a challenge and strive harder for a brighter tomorrow.
APAT: Associates for Performing Arts and Theatricals has congratulated I. Alempokba, Principal SCGC, Tuensang and his crew for successfully producing the biographical feature film titled Toshi. In a press release issued by R. Longritemjen Ao, executive secretary, APAT said despite very limited resources and economic avenues towards theatrical works, his efforts to promote such activities was a bold venture and laudable by all. This production has given a much needed impetus for development in entertainment sector in our society and hoped his debut production would help in setting high standards for other individuals and groups who are endeavouring to establish a our own movie industry in the state. APAT has also lauded the participation of all talents and casts in the movies and their remarkable professionalism, though many were just debuting actors. It also felt that state government should take cue from this kind of works and sanction sufficient provisions to help aspiring theatrical workers to grow professionally and also to pave the way for growth of a local film industry in the state. APAT has further wished Alempokba the very best in all his future endeavours, particularly in the field of art and theatre.
