NHL plans for 3-star hotels

Nagaland Hotels Limited (NHL), a Government of Nagaland undertaking is planning to promote three-star hotels in Dimapur, in a bid to promote hospitality and tourism in the state.
According to NHL managing director Taku Jamir as there is a huge demand for hotel rooms in Dimapur NHL plans to promote three-star hotels in Dimapur, Hospitality Biz India.com reported.
The number of tourist has been increasing in the state with foreign tourists comprising eight to ten per cent of the total inbound tourists. NHL is also planning to develo p eco-friendly tourist resorts in Jalukie, Mokokchung and Kezhakonoma.
Jamir said that the company will create awareness about their initiatives through their website (www.nagalandhotels.com), exhibitions and trade fairs related to tourism and hospitality sector for potential investors, developers and hotel management companies. The development of tourist resorts can be undertaken through Public Private Partnership (PPP) model, but no final decision has been taken as yet in this regard as plans are still at a nascent stage. Furthermore, the company has plans to develop a five-star hotel in Kohima.
