Murder condemned

Village council and Eloe Hoho of Meshangben village have condemned the ‘gruesome’ murder of Mhono of Meshangben village by her husband on January 18 at Bhandari town. Condemning the ‘inhuman act’, the two bodies have appealed to the responsible authorities to award befitting punishment to the accused at the earliest.
Meshangben village council and Eloe Hoho have expressed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
Meanwhile, the Gorkha Students’ Union Kohima has condemned the killing of a Nepali man by some unidentified persons at Rüziechaphi under Tsiesema village on January 18. Condemning the act as brutal, union urged the government to identify and book the culprit. Union further lauded Tsiesema Village Youth organization and other authorities for their assistance rendered.
