Man held for bike theft

Dimapur police arrested one person after a chase while he was fleeing with a stolen motorcycle (NL07E-8012) which was parked at Bamun Pukhuri-II, Purana Bazar area Tuesday 2:30 a.m.
According to police, the accused identified as one Tokheko Chishi, son of Ghosheto, from Akuhaito, Zunheboto, currently residing at Thilixu village, near Timothy theological college, admitted to stealing another motorcycle from the same spot and had stashed in the near by jungle.
On conducting search police recovered the stolen motorcycles – NL07E-8012 (a Bajaj XCD) and NL03-4330. The accused was produced before the east police station, where a case was registered, police said.
