Very much unlike the bidding war that occurred for the first pics of the Brangelina babies, nobody seems to really want the exclusive shot on Ricky Martin’s new twins.
A rep for the Latin pop star revealed last week that Ricky is now the proud papa of twin boys, delivered by a surrogate, but the tabloids aren’t chomping at the bit for the Rickster’s babes. Why? Because, frankly, the public just isn’t that into it.

Top editors have revealed that celebrity magazines, which usually start sparring over exclusive photos the second a famous actress is pregnant, are backing off.
“We aren’t jumping like we usually do. We don’t think he is going to tell the backstory, so the whole thing just seems kind of icky,” the New York Daily News quoted one editor, as saying.
According to reports, a photo of the singer might appear on the magazine but definitely not on the cover.
Another editor said that Martin isn’t attracting much interest for pictures of his new twin sons.
“When someone seems like they are hiding something, it’s a big turnoff to the public, who want to share in celebrities’ lives. No one really cared about Clay Aiken becoming a single dad, either,” said another editor.
