New school building of Government Primary School new Chingmei constructed under SSA Scheme 2009-10 was inaugurated on July 9 by Tuensang district education officer Tohoshe Sumi.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest lauded the effort made by VEC and teachers community of Chingmei village for constructing a school building within a short period which has brought relief to students’ community and society in general.
DEO also encouraged the people to be sincere and dedicated with commitment in the fear of the Lord for all round development especially the upcoming younger generation.
Pesha SIS Noklak, A. Aullen, VC Chairman and Vesazo Headmaster GHS Chingmei also delivered short speeches.
Earlier, the inauguration programme was chaired by Saowapong teacher in-charge, while invocation prayer was pronounced by Kundang Associate Pastress.
Special song was also presented by class 11 students and BYE Chingmei Baptist Church.
The programme concluded with benediction prayer by Chullen GB Chingmei village.
