Shortage of teachers at GMS Husto

Village Education Committee (VEC) Husto village under DIS Nuiland stated that government middle school Husto under D.I.S. Nuiland has been unable to function due to shortage of teachers.

VEC in a press release said out of six teachers, three were undergoing training under deputation with no substitute teachers appointed till now.
In this regard, VEC queried the education department that if it failed to appoint substitute teachers then why it allowed three teachers to undergo training at a time.

If the department cannot provide teachers required by the students then there would be no use to maintain the school under the department, added VEC and has requested the department to take necessary actions at the earliest.
