Rotary district conference showcases Naga culture

The 22nd Rotary District 3240 Conference was held from January 6 to 8 at ITA Complex, Guwahati.
Highlight of the three-day conference featured notable speakers including Niketu Iralu from Nagaland who spoke on “The challenges to build stability for North-East India.”

The conference was attended by 840 delegates from North Bengal and the seven sister’s states of North East including Rotarians from Bangladesh, USA and Sri Lanka.

Highlight of the inaugural evening and second day include presentation by ‘Faith in Action’ and Sumi Naga folk dance by Chekiye women cultural troupe.
Rotary district conference for the first time showcased a Naga cultural in a big platform.
