Kaito campaigns for NPF in Manipur

Minister for road & bridges, G. Kaito Aye addressed a public meeting at Zhobumai village and Laii village under 48th Mao A/C during election campaign for NPF candidate of Manipur 10th state assembly which would be held on January 28.

In his address Kaito appealed Naga electorates in Manipur irrespective of their position, area and tribe to exercise their franchise in favour of NPF candidates. He said Manipur 10th state assembly election was not only state election but also an opportunity to translate into action the desire and aspiration of the Nagas as one people.

He reminded the Nagas of Manipur to retrospect the historical events particularly 1951 plebiscite and to re-affirm and strengthen at election time. Kaito further mentioned that January 28 was a ‘challenging and acid test day’ for the Nagas and cautioned them to exercise their franchise wisely.

Puyanthung Lotha chairman NPF life member cell, Y. Vikheho Swu, Achumbemo Kikon and Pushika Awomi all ex-president of NSF were among others who addressed the meeting.
