Agricultural Technology Management Agency training programme held at Wokha

Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Wokha conducted a one-day training programme on ‘Cultivation practices of horticultural crops and livestock management’ January 23 at Lotsu village, covering four village’s i.e Morakjo, Pyangsa, Moilan and Lotsu with more than hundred participants from four villages representing SHG/CIG/FIGS, individual farmers and well wishers attended the programme.
The day long programme emphasized on motivating various SHG/CIG/ FIGs through intervention of scientific approach in their various Agri. and allied activities.
Topics like Cultivation Practices of Citrus, Concept and Functioning of SHG/CIG/FIGs, Livestock Management with special reference to the prevailing Livestock Alert Disease in North East and Cultivation Practices of vegetables were delivered by DPD Yanglen Jami, BTT convenor Tsenyimo Humtsoe, SMS Dr. Limha Jami and SMS Lideno Kithan respectively. More than hundred participants from four villages representing SHG/CIG/FIGs, individual farmers and well wishers attended the programme.
