Litsami Students’ Union (LSU) Friday expressed dismay over the factional “clash” that took place at Litsami Village on February 15 between NSCN (K) and GPRN/NSCN cadres. In a statement LSU president and Vikatoli I Chishi and vice president Vikato I Chishi requested both the factions to shun “violence” in civilian areas.
It mentioned that the village has so far “co-operated” with both the factions and stated that if such incident occurred in future, LSU or whole village community would not further extend further “co-operating”.
The union further requested the leaders of both the faction to “avert this type of violence” as it created “fear, anger and confusion” in the minds of peace loving villagers.
