One unidentified body of a local male around 35-40 years was found on Friday around 7a.m. at the railway track near Thahekhu road.
According to GRPS, the victim’s body was found in two pieces and suspected he was run over by a train.
The deceased was said to have been wearing a white sweater with black stripped collar, grey pant and white socks and red slippers at the time of the incident.
However, no foul play was suspected and the body has been kept at Dimapur district hospital morgue.
Meanwhile, one dead body, reportedly a non-local beggar, was found in a passenger train running between Lumding and Tinsukia.
