State home department, general administration branch has notified that March 23 (Sunday) would be a working day in view of the financial year ending activities.
According to a DIPR report, all administrative heads and heads of departments have been directed to ensure attendance of the respective officers and staff.
Transaction day on March 20: In another notification by addl. chief secretary & finance commissioner Toshi Aier, the government has also declared that March 20 would be transaction day for all the treasuries and sub-treasuries in the state.
The declaration was made in view of the financial year and the huge increase in government transactions.
