Church leaders’ seminar cum training concludes

SBAK Aizuto conducted ‘Church Leaders Seminar cum training’ from April 3-5 at Sumi Christian Centre, Aizuto with the theme ‘Servant Leadership’. 

During the seminar cum training, senior and experienced pastors and leaders demonstrated on church ordinances such as marriage, Lord’s Supper, baptism, funeral message, ex-communication, re-induction in the church, installations.

In a meeting, the members also discussed and agreed to implement the following points – sponsor some more SBAK staff by the local churches, and outside missionaries by an individual/ family; all churches under SBAK should be a mission Church through sponsoring SBAK staff as well as outreach missionaries by 2013-2014; in order to eradicate “nominalism” in the church.

Some points that were discussed included to conduct camps, retreats, revival/home crusades, chain of prayer, Bible studies by the respective churches at their own convenient; all SBAK staff and church leaders (Pastors, women leaders, youth leaders, Sunday School supervisors/teachers) to have fasting and prayer every Wednesday in a month throughout the year; every church would have prayer from respective church between 4 a.m. to 7 a.m. just one hour per day for the whole one month in a year led by the church leaders w.e.f 2013 (any month of the year at a convenient time). 

Altogether 212 delegates/leaders from different churches attended the programme.

Meanwhile, the executive secretary has extended gratitude to all program officials and delegates for their positive response in making the programme a success.
