Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio called on the Convener of National Democratic Alliance (NDA), Sharad Yadav in New Delhi, Thursday. Yadav is a member of the JD (U).
After winning the state polls with a thumping majority, sources said that the visit was a courtesy call by Rio since the NDA led by BJP is an ally of the NPF-led DAN government in Nagaland.
Nagaland chief minister was accompanied by Planning minister T.R. Zeliang and JD (U) national general secretary Arun Kumar Shrivastava.
